Adam Sachs, CFP, CLU, ChFC, CLTC, AIF, a Financial Advisor with Centinel Financial Group, LLC, was recently named NAIFA's Q2 Membership Hard Hat recipient. Adam is a loyal member since 1994 and is currently serving as Massachusetts Membership Chair. Working side by side with his membership team they mapped out an annual plan, complete with goals and expectations of the committee, and distributed it with much success.

Adam has been in the industry for 28 years and has been a NAIFA member for 27-and-a-half of those years. He runs a financial planning practice in Needham, MA. "I feel extremely fortunate that I found this career. I have significant job satisfaction. I love helping my clients reach their financial goals, mostly centered around retirement and risk management." Adam commented that within the last year nearly 15 of his clients were able to retire.

Early on in his career, Adam became involved with the Young Advisor Team (YAT) and was the first person named as YAT Leader of the Year in 2010. He is a Past President of NAIFA-Massachusetts and has served on the National IFAPAC Committee.

Adam's first long-term care claim was for his own grandfather. The entire experience was extremely positive for Adam and his family. Since that time he's filed hundreds of long-term care claims, while helping clients and their families through the process of building relationships with attorneys and geriatric care advisors. "The highlight of my career, by far, was working on a long-term care bill here in Massachusetts...actually being involved dissecting and reconstructing [the] original bill and then being at the bill signing."

Adam gave these final remarks regarding his Membership Hard Hat recognition. "We collectively need to promote NAIFA and NAIFA has done a fantastic job giving us the tools to promote NAIFA. They provide great content ... great events ... great relationships. And now they have given leaders the tools to make it easier to build a committee and give direction ... so it's something that we need to take ownership of and it's not that hard. We have a great product and we need to collectively do the best job we can to grow this great organization."

Congratulations Adam on receiving the Q2 2021 Membership Hard Hat for all of your work to move the needle on membership growth. We are #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
