Meet Loyal NAIFA Member Brad Noller

Brad Noller is all about building relationships, both with his clients and with other insurance and financial services professionals.

Making a Difference

Noller didn’t start his career in the insurance industry, but he found he was good at it and excelled quickly. Just nine months after starting an Agent in Training position with American Family Insurance, he opened his own agency—an accomplishment that normally took between 18-24 months at the time.

Building relationships with his clients is the foundation of Noller’s work. He fosters trust by putting himself in his clients’ shoes, sharing what he would do to protect his own family in their situation. “My job is to inform and take care of my clients, and pass along the best information to them,” he says.

Being a good communicator is key for any insurance professional, says Noller. While he works with a variety of clients, he specializes in helping young families. As a multiline agent, he helps create a comprehensive plan to suit each individual’s or family’s needs.

The past two years of the COVID-19 pandemic have reinforced the importance of having sufficient life insurance coverage for Noller. “I thought people were invincible,” he says. “The last couple of years of COVID-19 have brought it home.”

The Value of NAIFA

When Noller started working at American Family, his district manager—loyal NAIFA member Rick Slocum—encouraged him to go to a NAIFA meeting to learn more about the organization. Noller says that was one of the best things for him. Being able to meet and exchange ideas with other producers and agency owners has proved indispensable, he says.

To industry professionals who haven’t joined NAIFA yet, Noller says, “Check it out. The benefits of NAIFA outweigh any cost or time associated with it.” He discusses the benefits of NAIFA membership, saying, “I think a lot of people are missing out by not taking advantage of [NAIFA's] resources and advocacy.”

Noller is currently serving as NAIFA-KS's President and Membership Chair. Previously, he served as Vice President of NAIFA-KS and on the chapter's Programs and Professional Development Committee.

Outside of the Office

When he’s not working, Noller enjoys spending time with his wife and children, as well as golfing and attending local sporting and community events. He volunteers with several nonprofit and charitable organizations, including the Ronald McDonald House of Northeast Kansas, Junior Achievement, and the Auburn Washburn Public Schools Foundation where his children go to school.

Thank you, Brad, for your service to our industry and association. We’re #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
