Crystal Nguyen is a sales manager with MassMutual Texas Gulf Coast and a new NAIFA member. She began her first job in the insurance and financial services industry because it seemed like a good option for her. “I sort of fell into it,” she said. But she has developed a successful career because of her passion for serving clients.
“I really love helping people,” she said. “I love what I do because I am educating people so they understand how they can have financial success.”
“My job is about building relationships with clients and helping them with all their financial needs,” she added. “All the big events – when they get married, have a baby, graduate from school – I want to be there for them. My job is to make sure they are prepared for any situation.”
Crystal decided to become a NAIFA member after attending virtual NAIFA Nation Impact Week sessions in May. A colleague in her firm is a long-time NAIFA member who encouraged her to join. Now that she’s part of the NAIFA family, Crystal wants to gain more exposure to NAIFA’s educational and professional development webinars and other programs, as well as networking opportunities and advocacy support.
