Dale Handley is a financial planner with a mission: to provide peace of mind to clients through building comprehensive financial plans.
Handley has been in the financial services industry since 2011. Growing up in small-town Iowa, he always had a head for numbers. When he got a college internship in investing, he knew he had found the right place. “I was really drawn to financial services because I felt like there is an incredible amount of noise in our industry,” he begins. “I wanted to help simplify that for people because I feel like it can be extremely confusing." He watched his parents trying to find answers to their questions about their finances, but not getting the help they needed.
As a financial planner, Handley focuses on helping retirees and pre-retirees develop solid financial plans. As he says, retirement is a pivotal time in life and his job is to provide peace of mind in the face of uncertainty. A natural problem-solver, Handley loves helping people find solutions suited to their individual needs. He understands the importance of a comprehensive financial plan and helps his clients build their plans to offer protection in all parts of their lives—whether that be with life insurance, annuities, or investing.
When he isn’t in the office, Handley stays active. He enjoys skiing and has coached wrestling in the past. Last September, he participated in his first IRONMAN Triathlon and is looking forward to the next one. He also loves spending time with his wife Anna and his two children, Faye and Walker. His firm, Business & Financial Strategies in Coralville, Iowa, also volunteers with charities several times every year.
Handley joined NAIFA to bring a fresh perspective and hopes to provide younger representation to the NAIFA Nation. With Business & Financial Strategies growing quickly, he’s excited to continue in the financial services industry for many more years.
Thank you, Dale, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to a bright future in the association for you and are #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
