Morgan Fimpel is an Account Manager for Summit Financial Group and a new NAIFA member.
After graduating from Central Baptist College with a Bachelor of Science in General Studies and a Recreational Leadership minor, she moved to Dallas, TX. She and her fiancé planned to settle in the area eventually, so Fimpel began applying to open positions that somewhat aligned with her past work experiences. Not long into her search, she was interviewed for a position at Summit and offered the job. At the time, she knew this would be an incredible growth opportunity, but little did she know that this would turn into a career she would fall completely in love with. She says she was attracted to this industry because, “I knew there was the potential of this job turning into a career, and I love helping people. Now that I’m actually in it, I realize it’s 100% where I want to be, and I’m so glad I decided to give it a try!”
One year in, it’s clear that Fimpel has a passion for helping her clients and genuinely enjoys the process. She says, “I want to have a job that’s fulfilling and has a purpose, and being able to help someone prepare for their future financially is one of the best ways I can contribute to someone right now.” She recalls a moment when she witnessed enthusiasm from one of her clients during an initial meeting and says that is exactly why she is eager to serve people through financial services. Seeing others recognize and understand the importance of planning for their financial future fuels her motivation.
While her current focus is life insurance, Fimpel is excited to continue growing and exploring other aspects of financial planning. She says, “I’m just getting started, but I want to continue getting my feet wet to prepare me for the next level.” She plans to obtain her securities licenses and learn more about retirement planning and investments. Fimpel is already working toward these achievements. She is becoming well-versed and working to become the best she can be for the clients she serves. She decided early on to become a member of NAIFA’s advocacy partner, Women in Insurance & Financial Services (WIFS), where she was paired with a mentor. Upon recommendation from her mentor, she decided to join NAIFA and is now enrolled in the LUTCF course.
Fimpel’s enthusiasm for helping others doesn’t stop at the office. When she’s not working, you can find her serving as a “Volunteer Coach” for the NWBA Dallas Mavericks Prep Team. Fimpel played collegiate basketball during her time at Central Baptist College and continues to pair her passion for people with her love for the sport.
