NAIFA Member Named Brokerage Manager at First American Insurance

First American Insurance Underwriters, Inc., the Needham, Mass.-based wholesale life insurance, annuity, long-term care and disability income firm, has named JoAnn H. Lemieux, LUTCF, as a brokerage manager, according to an announcement by Kenneth A. Shapiro, president.

“We are pleased to have JoAnn Lemieux join our team of Brokerage Managers,” says Shapiro. “Her extensive experience in estate planning and helping life insurance producers in New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine to grow their businesses makes her an excellent fit for our company. JoAnn has a unique ability to come up with sound solutions to complex problems.”

Before coming to First American Insurance Underwriters, Lemieux was vice president of sales and estate planning specialist for Boston-based Smith Companies, a Capitas Partner.

Lemieux is a past board member of the New Hampshire chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and a past president of her local chapter of the organization. A resident of Alstead, NH, she is a graduate of New York State University at Plattsburgh.
