Ameritas has entered into a corporate partnership with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors to provide field partners access to professional development and educational resources to enhance their knowledge and business, and advocacy opportunities to protect the industry and their clients.

“Securing a strong financial future for Americans is more important than ever,” said Ameritas Chief Executive Officer JoAnn Martin. “Ameritas agents provide financial guidance and strategies that help their clients enjoy life at its very best. The benefits offered through NAIFA membership add value to the education, training and leadership development opportunities currently available to our field partners through Ameritas.”

Martin added: “NAIFA is a powerful voice advocating for the industry and our clients on Capitol Hill and in state legislatures. Ameritas encourages our agents to join NAIFA and become involved because America’s families and businesses need access to the professional advice, products and services that help secure their financial futures.”

Among the benefits offered through the partnership is NAIFA’s delivery of hundreds of licenses to the renowned Skill Builder Training Series on “Professional Prospecting,” as well as member rates on the prestigious LUTCF designation and LACP certification.

Ameritas agents also are invited to NAIFA’s Performance+Purpose Conference Sept. 8-10 in Orlando., Fla. The annual conference brings together the best and brightest financial professionals in the industry to share inspirational stories and exchange business insights on what it take to serve clients, grow their business and achieve professional success in insurance and financial services. JoAnn Martin is among the industry CEOs who will participate on a leadership panel at the conference.

As a Platinum Sponsor of Performance+Purpose, Ameritas will be recognized before industry leaders and peers through main-stage introductions and corporate visibility in conference materials, publications, member communications and exhibition space.

Also at Performance+Purpose, Keith M. Gillies, CFP, CLU, ChFC, will be welcomed as the 2017-18 NAIFA president. Gillies is a leading representative of Ameritas.

“The Ameritas field force boasts an extraordinary legacy of leadership with NAIFA, with many representatives serving as past presidents and holding other prominent positions in NAIFA leadership,” said NAIFA CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE. “We are looking forward to Keith continuing the Ameritas tradition of leadership when he is named NAIFA president for 2018-2019. We value and appreciate the support and contributions from Ameritas, and welcome their expanded participation and representation through NAIFA membership.”
