ARLINGTON, VA — With a keen aim to grow the number of financial professionals involved in the industry’s oldest and largest professional association, the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) has appointed Gwenn Marsh as Senior Director, Group Membership Sales. This newly created role will help bolster NAIFA’s efforts at engaging the next generation of insurance and financial advisors in the profession.

“This is a new day and a new time for NAIFA. In order to create more wins, we need more advisors engaged in our association and helping us do good work serving American consumers from coast-to-coast,” said Christopher Gandy, NAIFA’s 2026 President. “Gwenn's record of turning connections into real value is precisely what NAIFA needs," added John W. Wheeler, Jr., NAIFA President-Elect, who helped recruit Marsh to join the NAIFA team.

Marsh brings extensive experience in membership growth, strategic marketing, and sales leadership to the role. With over two decades of association experience, she has spent her entire career in the financial service sector, including leadership roles at both AAA and the AICPA & CIMA, two of the nation’s largest associations, with over 60 million and 580,000 members, respectively.

"NAIFA's members have been delivering exceptional value to their clients since 1890," Marsh said. "My job is to amplify that story by leveraging my deep industry connections to attract the next generation of advisors, helping NAIFA build even stronger member engagement through programs that drive professional development and organizational growth."

“We look forward to adding Gwenn’s experience and expertise to our professional staff team,” said Kevin Mayeux, NAIFA’s Chief Executive Officer. “With a focused and driven volunteer corps, and talented staff engaging company leaders and financial professionals nationwide, we are confident NAIFA will experience membership growth, and more importantly, create greater impact as we empower financial professionals and consumers through world-class advocacy and education.”

Marsh will report to Brian Steiner, NAIFA’s Vice President of Business Development & Partner Relations, and work in tandem with NAIFA’s Chapter & Member Services team.
