When Aaron Gose, WMCP®, FSCP®, started his career as an engineer, he could tell there was something missing. He loved problem-solving but found he was more curious about how projects were funded rather than how they were designed and built.
In 2021, he transitioned his career to New York Life with a focus on helping fellow engineers plan for life’s guaranteed events through financial strategies. Now, he protects his clients as an insurance agent and their investment needs as a financial advisor with Eagle Strategies
Gose’s goal is to improve his clients’ futures by educating them about financial strategies and putting those strategies in place. “Like the engineering design problems I used to solve, financial planning is the same mental process,” he says. “You have a problem, you have your variables, and you find the most efficient way to solve that problem.”
Gose discusses one experience that helped him see the impact of his work. A client had recently moved to a new engineering firm for the first time in 15 years. They were looking for a financial advisor who could help them invest those assets and could build an efficient retirement plan. Seeing that Gose worked specifically with engineers like them, it was a perfect fit.
Gose recommended a rollover for their previous employer's 401(k) as well as a much-needed cash-value life insurance policy. Gose was right as these recommendations protected their family while also providing income in retirement through IRA withdrawals and cash value from the life insurance policy
Gose first learned of NAIFA through his senior partner at New York Life. As a NAIFA member, Gose is looking forward to informing his engineering clients as well as Main Street Americans of the latest financial legislation and policies that can potentially affect their financial stability.
When he’s not in the office, Gose serves as a volunteer firefighter with the Franktown Fire Protection District responding to 911 calls from the community. He emphasizes, “No matter what problems are thrown our way at work, home, and everywhere in between, having the right plan is critical to success.”
Thank you, Aaron, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to a bright future in the association with you and are #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
