Entering the financial services industry in 2006, Dave Gannett quickly adapted and enjoyed working with other financial professionals by providing them with various investment vehicles and equipping financial advisors with information that helps benefit their clients. Eventually, he found himself serving as an advisor, focusing on global wealth and investment management.

Through this, he acquired a new perspective into how clients would like an all-encompassing view of their investments and finances and to better understand the various options and products available to help improve their financial future. From working with financial professionals to providing expertise directly to clients, Gannett developed a unique perspective on what products and information help benefit both the advisor and the client.

A Trusted Partner

Today, Gannett works with the Institutional Banking group at The Bancorp, Inc., where he utilizes what he’s learned from having a seat on both sides of the table to help financial professionals offer innovative products and reach their full holistic potential. In his work with Institutional Banking, Gannett partners with registered investment advisors, wealth management firms, insurance companies, broker/dealers, and family offices to provide flexible and innovative lending solutions.

Working with one of the few U.S. banks without an in-house wealth management business, Gannett serves as a true partner to financial professionals without fear of competition and uses a consultative approach to educate advisors on the benefits of managing client debt. With the various banking solutions offered by Institutional Banking, he has watched clients manage their wealth to reach financial goals such as buying their dream home or funding their children’s college education.

Joining NAIFA

After learning about NAIFA, Gannett understood that joining the organization would help him continue to evolve the support Institutional Banking provides its partners. Through its educational resources and a strong network of financial professionals, he saw becoming a member as an opportunity to learn from industry leaders and offer his own expertise to young professionals entering financial services.

Outside of the Office

In his free time, Gannett enjoys coaching youth lacrosse and spending quality time with his wife and three daughters. With frequent beach trips in the summer and ski vacations in the winter, the family bonds over their love of outdoor activities and cheering on Penn State!

Thank you, Dave, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to a bright future in the association for you and are #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
