NAIFA’s Medicare Collective will host "Navigating Disruption and Market Contraction in Medicare Business in 2026 and Beyond" as part of Medicare Collective Impact Day on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm Eastern. This free live virtual event for both NAIFA members and nonmembers brings together professionals who work directly in the Medicare market to discuss the real challenges that financial professionals are facing as the landscape continues to change.

The program features a series of focused sessions led by members of the NAIFA Medicare Collective and industry practitioners who understand the day-to-day realities of serving Medicare beneficiaries. The webinar begins with an introduction to the Medicare Collective and its purpose, followed by discussions on why quality in consumer engagement matters more than ever, how product deserts are emerging and what they mean for beneficiaries, and how recent legislation and carrier decisions are reshaping the market. Speakers include Carroll Golden, Dwane McFerrin, Roy Messer, Steve Kaplan, Dr. Darwin Hale, Craig Ritter, Bryan Keeven, Mark Hunter, Josh Slattery, along with NAIFA leaders Michael Hedge and Diane Boyle.

A large portion of the event will focus on breaking down the 2027 CMS Proposed Rule, with a practical look at key provisions, potential impacts on marketing and sales practices, and issues that could affect STAR ratings and supplemental benefits. The program will conclude with an overview of NAIFA’s advocacy priorities and the work being done to protect beneficiaries, support agents, and promote a stable Medicare market moving forward.

Medicare Collective Impact Day is designed for financial professionals who want clear information, practical context, and insight from peers who are actively navigating these changes. Register today!
