Your Expertise for All to Experience

Advisor Today is accepting content submitted by NAIFA members.

The Advisor Today platform consists of a printed magazine published three times annually and the Advisor Today Blog, which features frequent posts with fresh content. Consideration of content for the print magazine issues is very competitive. With rare exceptions, NAIFA solicits articles on specific topics from staff or members for the print issues.

The Advisor Today Blog accepts articles and short recordings of interest to NAIFA members and other insurance and financial services professionals from a wider pool of contributors. The ideal article length is 400 – 750 words. Longer articles will be considered if they hold readers’ attention. The ideal video recording is 2 – 3 minutes, with a maximum of 5 minutes. Topics that appeal to the Advisor Today audience include, but are not limited to:

  • Life Insurance
  • Retirement Planning
  • Fixed & Variable Annuities
  • Comprehensive Financial Planning
  • Limited, Extended & Long-Term Care Planning
  • Small Business Operations Worksite & Employee Benefits
  • Financial Literacy
  • Medicare & Healthcare Insurance
  • College Funding
  • Disability Insurance
  • Business Succession Planning
  • Special Needs Planning, Including Divorce & Special Needs Dependents
  • Women in Transition Planning (Marriage, Motherhood, Divorce & Widowhood)
  • Wealth Management
  • Investment Advisory Services & Portfolio Management
  • Property & Casualty Insurance
  • Underinsured and Uninsured Americans
  • Professional and Agency Success Profiles

Content on the Advisor Today Blog may appear with the author’s byline and a short bio. The article itself should not market a specific product or company. Reference to or mention of a company is acceptable when it is relevant to the article. Profiles of successful NAIFA members or agencies, when they are not strictly marketing pieces, are acceptable. Contributors are encouraged to identify their companies and provide contact opportunities in their author bios. NAIFA will promote content selected to appear on the Advisor Today Blog on NAIFA’s social media channels. Content is accepted from NAIFA members, partners, and sponsors.

Content for consideration and queries should be submitted to advisortoday@naifa.org. Non-members wishing to provide content for Advisor Today or other NAIFA publications should contact partners@naifa.org.
