Advisor Today has recognized four financial advisors with the “Four Under Forty Award,” given annually to four outstanding advisors who achieve excellence in their profession by or before the age of 40. The advisors will be profiled in the September/October 2013 issue of Advisor Today, which will be distributed to attendees of NAIFA’s 2013 Career Conference and Annual Meeting in San Antonio in September.

MDRT has performed its magic again—this time at its Annual Meeting held earlier this week in Philadelphia. There, in the city of brotherly love, the association brought together more than 8,000 agents and advisors from 74 countries and showed them how to transform their practices from good to great.

This is Cooper’s second National Chairman's Award, which recognizes Penn Mutual Career Agency System managing partners and managing directors who have demonstrated exceptional all-around performance and leadership.

NAIFA-West Virginia recently honored Philip T. Seibert for 77 years of service in the financial-services industry.

NAIFA-Atlanta is pleased to introduce the 2013 recipients of its prestigious Top Advisors Under 40 award. This award recognizes excellence and achievement in the insurance and financial services field, measuring business production, years in business, and community involvement for professionals 40 years of age and younger. Candidates consisted of insurance and financial professionals throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area, nominated by their peers or business associates. Final recipients were chosen by a panel of NAFIA-Atlanta board members and will be honored at a luncheon on April 3.
