Research released earlier this year by Lincoln Financial Group shows that while women place high importance on planning for retirement and their family’s future, they are facing gaps that are keeping them from reaching the positive outcomes they seek. According to the Love and Responsibility Survey, most women have good intentions when it comes to creating positive financial outcomes for themselves and their loved ones. Most say they are prioritizing planning for their retirement (90%) and their family’s future (84%); yet over seven in 10 feel they are not doing a very good job with either. In fact, 70 percent of women are worried they will run out of money in retirement – and among them, only 20 percent say they have put a plan in place to manage this concern.

The life insurance industry’s highest honor will be presented at the NAIFA’s Performance + Purpose Conference in September as a tribute to his more than 50 years of service and contributions to the industry.

Haney will be recognized at a gala event, which takes place this evening at the Convene Conference Center in Arlington, Va. The evening will be emceed by Tommy McFly, live broadcast cohost on The Tommy Show APP!  and an alumnus of the Washington Business Journal 40 Under 40 Awards Program.

The National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) has accredited the NAIFA Certification Commission’s Life and Annuity Certified Professional (LACP) certification for a five-year period, effective May 13, 2019. The LACP certification is now officially listed on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) professional designations database, one of only ten accredited designations of the hundreds listed with FINRA.
