NAIFA member, Brian Haney, CLTC, CFS, CFBS, CIS, LACP, is the proud recipient of the Washington Business Journal’s Forty Under Forty Award. Haney will be recognized at a gala event, which takes place this evening at the Convene Conference Center in Arlington, Va. The evening will be emceed by Tommy McFly, live broadcast cohost on The Tommy Show APP!  and an alumnus of the Washington Business Journal 40 Under 40 Awards Program.

Haney is part of a long list of young, high-profile nominees who were judged on professional accomplishments, community leadership, and awards and milestones. The Class of 2018 founded companies that brought in more than $19 million last year alone.

Haney is Vice President and co-founder of The Haney Company, based in Silver Spring, Maryland. He brings to the firm an in-depth strength in areas like strategic asset management, insurance, and financial planning. He also brings significant depth and capacity to the company adding his for-profit, small-business, and family practice to the organization.

Haney is no stranger to awards and accolades. He was MassMutual Life Insurance Company’s Rising Leader in 2009, 2010, and 2011, and MassMutual Life Insurance Company Leaders Qualifier in 2009, 2010, and 2011. He is also a perennial MDRT Qualifier and was a NAIFA National Quality Award recipient in 2013 and 2014. In addition, he was a recipient of Advisor Today’s Four Under Forty Award and NAIFA’s Diversity Champion Award.
