Dear Friends & Colleagues,

On behalf of NAIFA’s Board of Trustees and staff, I would like to wish you a very happy Thanksgiving.

We are thankful every day for our opportunity to serve you, members of the largest, most influential, and most prestigious association of insurance and financial professionals in the country. We feel great pride knowing that NAIFA has been the main unifying voice speaking on behalf of your profession and the industry for 130 years.

NAIFA is and has always been the association where the best insurance and financial professionals on the planet come together to show their professional pride, network with the best in the business, help each other succeed, and achieve unparalleled political advocacy wins at both the federal and state levels. At NAIFA, we are truly thankful that together we can take on anything.

NAIFA’s success is reflected in the “Power of the Pin,” symbolized by the NAIFA lapel pin all members are authorized to wear. The NAIFA pin shows your professional dedication, adherence to the NAIFA Code of Ethics, and devotion to the success of your clients. It means you are part of something bigger than yourself that is vital to our industry. In fact, you are part of the association that has empowered our profession and industry to serve 90 million American families faithfully throughout the decades

Behind the Power of the Pin is the strength of our members. NAIFA is successful because of you, and we are always looking for ways to express our thanks. 

One way is by doing more than ever to spotlight NAIFA members and publicize the great work you do. This includes publishing member profiles on our blog or in Advisor Today magazine and recognizing your professional achievements on social media. It includes highlighting our new members on “Membership Mondays” and providing opportunities to join our Advocacy Go Team.

This holiday season, we are also thanking every NAIFA member by sending you a membership kit that includes a display copy of the NAIFA Code of Ethics, a NAIFA window cling, and NAIFA “tech tattoos” for your cell phones, tablets, and laptops. Keep an eye on your mail the first week of December for your membership kit.

You work for Main Street Americans, helping them mitigate life’s inevitable risks, obtain financial security, and achieve prosperity. The fact that your mission is so noble and so critical to the well-being of American families and small businesses makes our mission of serving you all the more satisfying.
