When I first stepped into a leadership role at NAIFA, I did it as a volunteer. What I didn’t realize at the time was how rewarding, energizing, and impactful the experience would be. Serving as a volunteer leader has not only been gratifying on a personal level, it has also been one of the best investments I’ve made in my career, my leadership skills, and my ability to serve our profession.

That’s why I’m asking NAIFA chapter leaders to join me at NAIFA’s National Leadership Conference (NLC) this October in Arlington, VA. This event is designed to equip volunteer leaders with the tools, training, and inspiration to succeed, not just in your NAIFA role, but in your business and personal leadership journey.

In the evening after the NLC, we will be celebrating NAIFA's leaders and award winners, including YAT Leader of the Year Rick Demko, Terry Headley Lifetime Defender Shane Westhoelter, our NAIFA Hall of Fame inductees, and John Newton Russell Memorial Award recipient Robert Miller. You may attend the awards dinner without participating in the NLC sessions by registering separately.

The NLC is more than a meeting. It’s where ideas are shared, challenges are tackled, and relationships are built that last a lifetime. We come together in person because nothing replaces the power of face-to-face collaboration.
