Over the past year, we successfully integrated three leading organizations in the insurance and financial services industry – NAIFA, the Society of Financial Service Professionals, and Life Happens – to create a stronger, more robust, and more influential NAIFA and lead the way in advocacy, professional growth, and consumer education. The addition of FSP and Life Happens increased the value of NAIFA membership by giving you access to exclusive Life Happens marketing content and FSP webinars, events, and the Journal of Financial Service Professionals.

Advocacy Remains a Top Focus

The new year brings a new administration and new Congress to Washington, D.C., as well as new legislators and policymakers to state capitals across the country. NAIFA’s advocacy mission remains clear: to encourage the best legislative and regulatory outcomes for our members, your clients, and the industry as a whole. NAIFA is working tirelessly to ensure we have legislative contacts for each member of the new Congress as well as state lawmakers. (If you know a member of Congress or state legislator, or are aware of another NAIFA member who does, please let us know about it.)

Once again, NAIFA chapters will host state legislative days and we will hold the Congressional Conference, May 19-20, in Washington, D.C. Your participation makes these events successful and ensures that NAIFA members are by far the most influential grassroots advocates in our industry. As long as officials make decisions that impact your businesses and the financial security of American consumers, NAIFA remains dedicated to amplifying your voice and maximizing your influence.

With your support, NAIFA looks forward to a strong 2025. I encourage each of you to make the most of your NAIFA membership. Be an active participant in your association. Engage with other NAIFA members. Recruit your colleagues to join us. Be your own best advocate. Make an effort to explore NAIFA benefits you haven’t taken advantage of. I think you will find that NAIFA in 2025 offers more relevance and more value than ever before.
