June Is National Annuity Awareness Month

After 17 years of working with animals in pet shops, shelters, and zoos, Christian Kalinowski decided it was time for a change. He considered a sales career in a few different sectors before finally settling on insurance and financial services. He wanted to help educate people on a topic he didn’t learn much about growing up—personal finance. So, in 2021, he joined Dipaola Financial Group as a financial service professional.

Making a Difference

Kalinowski works with clients on mortgage protection, debt protection, retirement planning, and more. The best part of his job, he says, is teaching his clients what they need to know to make informed decisions about their financial futures.

Serving clients in insurance and financial services is rewarding, says Kalinowski. “It's nice to have something that you don't necessarily have to hold but knowing that there's a guarantee to what we have to offer is something that I really like. It's always nice to have something that is always going to be there.” He adds that his clients appreciate his candid nature. “When I open myself up, the right clients find their way in. That’s what’s been the most life-changing.”

Outside of the Office

When he’s not working, Kalinowski stays involved in his community. He coaches a youth swim team, volunteers with his church, and helps organize fundraisers for organizations he’s passionate about. He recently completed a triathlon for the Wounded Warrior Project. He enjoys staying active, playing sports like ice hockey, roller hockey, and racquetball.

Thank you, Christian, for your hard work and dedication. We look forward to a bright future in the association for you and are #NAIFAproud to call you one of our own.
