Veronica Rodriguez specializes in property and casualty insurance at Gateway Insurance Group and is a new NAIFA member. Coming from the payday lending industry, she was thrilled to enter a field where she could continue helping people—this time without high interest rates and repossessions. Rodriguez is most passionate about helping people plan for the unexpected in order to prevent them from ending up in a position that forces them to borrow money at high interest rates.

When asked why she would recommend a career in the financial services industry, her passion for caring for others truly shines. She believes wholeheartedly that the services offered in this industry make a genuine difference in people’s lives.

After her mentor and NAIFA member Aprilyn Geissler explained to her what NAIFA is and asked her to join, she decided to become a member “because it seemed like a place where I could gain experience and knowledge.” She recommends that others join NAIFA if they want to turn their job into a career. She believes NAIFA offers those in the financial industry the confidence and knowledge needed to excel.
