NAIFA Immediate Past President Juli McNeely is featured in a Retirement Advisor magazine cover article titled “Women in Insurance.” McNeely appears on the cover with Susan Combs, president of Women in Insurance and Financial Services and a NAIFA member, and Jillian Nell, a financial planner based in Houston.

The article consists of excerpts from a panel discussion at the Advisor Network Summit and focuses on how women advisors are “shaping the future of this business.”

From the article, McNeely says:
“I would say our industry can be a lonely place, especially if you’re an independent advisor. … I knew if I were to be around people who were very successful, it was bound to rub off on me at some point. I started to connect and network with other individuals within our local NAIFA organization. Truly it just snowballed from there.”
