New York Life agent and registered investment advisor Irma Inés Quiñones, CLU, ChFC, CLTC, was recently presented with the Jack Richter Memorial Agent of the Year Award by the Silicon Valley association of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA).
This prestigious career award recognizes the outstanding agent who has contributed to the financial services industry, developed into a true professional, is established as a substantial sales producer, and has been involved within his or her community.
“I am very grateful for this recognition,” said Quiñones. “It’s extremely gratifying to help businesses and families in my community crystalize their financial objectives and take the appropriate action to achieve these goals. I enjoy focusing on what I call “Multigenerational Financial Planning,” which is making sure the steps individuals take to reach economic stability do not only help them, but also their children and grandchildren.”
This year, Quiñones will celebrate 11 years with New York Life. During her career in the financial and insurance industry, she has been an MDRT member seven times. She frequently shares her financial planning, life insurance planning and wealth preservation expertise with women and industry groups, professional associations, and students.
“We are very proud of Irma. Her holistic planning approach is designed to help coordinate and orchestrate the many aspects of a clients’ financial life into a cohesive one, for themselves and future generations” said Hector Vilchis, corporate vice president, Latino Market, New York Life. “She serves as an example of our team’s work in the communities where we have a presence and motivates us to continue our efforts to guide the financial decisions of Latino families and businesses across the U.S.”
