As you finalize your goals for 2020 and look for partners to help accelerate your success, don’t overlook an important ally: NAIFA.
As it has done in years past, NAIFA is working hard to safeguard the products that help your clients protect their families and loved ones, and is providing you with the tools, strategies and resources you need to serve your clients better.
This year is NAIFA’s 130th anniversary, and the association is celebrating its glorious past while looking ahead to a vibrant future. It will kick off this celebration at its NAIFA Live Event, which takes place January 9 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. NAIFA Live is the association’s monthly meeting hosted by a NAIFA state chapter or regional group of chapters and is presented in an online, interactive forum for those not able to attend in person.
This session of NAIFA Live will feature remarks by NAIFA’s new president Cammie Scott on her vision for NAIFA and a presentation by Kurtis Kersey, a self-described “recovering financial advisor.” Kersey will share his insights on how financial professionals can most effectively serve their clients by using social media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram. CE credit is available to attendees in some locations. Register here.
NAIFA has other programs and resources designed exclusively for you. Just visit www.naifa.org and start taking the steps you need to move ahead in 2020.
NAIFA is also continuing its focus on advocacy and its role as a unifying force that is working as the voice of the industry and the leading association that serves the interests of agents and financial advisors and their clients in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
This May, the association will host its annual Congressional Conference, where members from all 50 states will educate lawmakers on the value that NAIFA members bring to their clients and the solutions they provide for 90 million American families.
And NAIFA will host its Performance +Purpose Conference from October 1 to October 4 in Boston, birthplace of the nation and birthplace of NAIFA. Stay tuned for more information on this important event.
For 130 years, you have counted on NAIFA to help you survive and thrive—and it did. NAIFA will continue this tradition of excellence--now-and in the years ahead.
