June Is National Annuity Awareness Month

NAIFA President Bryon Holz understands as well as anyone how annuity products can fit in holistic financial plans for many of his clients. They are the only product that can provide guaranteed income for life and are often the perfect complement to other planning products.

"We help [clients] insure their lives, health, wages, cars, and homes. Doesn’t it also make sense to protect and insure their retirement income?" he writes in the NAIFA Insights column in the current issue of InsuranceNewsNet magazine.

Annuities are an important part of Holz's "bucket approach" to retirement planning, with different buckets of products and services serving the specific needs for specific clients.

June is National Annuity Awareness Month, providing agents and advisors with a strong reminder of these important products and a hook for entering discussions about them with clients.
