NAIFA IFAPAC contributors received an exclusive elections update from nationally renowned political expert Nathan Gonzales. The webinar provided a big picture overview six weeks out from the November midterms and insights into factors that could turn specific races for House and Senate seats as well as state governorships and determine who will make decisions that will impact NAIFA members’ businesses and clients.

Providing nonpartisan insights, Gonzalez has worked as an on-air analyst for Newshour on PBS and an off-air elections consultant for ABC News. He has appeared on NBC's Meet the Press and NBC Nightly News, C-SPAN's Washington Journal, NPR's All Things Considered, Fox News Channel, and MSNBC and he has been quoted in The New York Times, Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, and USA Today.

With Democrats currently holding the majority in the House of Representatives by five seats and in the Senate by one (based on the Vice President’s tie-breaker vote), “it can’t get any closer than it is now,” Gonzales said. “Every seat matters.”

“This presents an opportunity for everyone to get involved at the individual level and at the PAC level,” he added. “Because the stakes are high. The time to do more is now and over the next five to six weeks so you don’t have regret later.”

Gonzales’ pre-election webinar and a complimentary subscription to his “Inside Elections” newsletter are gifts from IFAPAC to contributors. Gonzales will be making a return appearance, in person, on November 14 at NAIFA’s National Leadership Conference at the Omni Shoreham in Washington, D.C. He will provide his post-election analysis for NAIFA members in attendance. Don’t miss out! Register for the NLC and Belong awards celebration today.
