Thank you NAIFA members for everything you do.
No one could have predicted a year like 2020. Still, looking back it’s easy to see that things could have been much worse for many Americans if it hadn’t been for your efforts and the products, services, and advice you provide. No one can be fully prepared to suffer a major financial setback, job loss, disability or health crisis, or the loss of a loved one.
That is especially true during a pandemic. But thanks to the dedication, professionalism, and service of insurance and financial advisors, tens of millions of American families were better prepared for the consequences of COVID-19 than they would have been otherwise.
At NAIFA we have tried to show our gratitude by adjusting on the fly to provide you more high-quality virtual programming and events to bring our industry together. We continue the rapid pace of our advocacy work, looking out for the interests of agents and advisors as critical infrastructure workers, as providers of financial and retirement planning services, and as employers and small business owners. NAIFA worked with key members of Congress to help shape important COVID-19 relief and recovery legislation. We have also ramped up our unparalleled state advocacy work.
We continue to spotlight NAIFA members and publicize the great work you do. This includes publishing member profiles on our Advisor Today blog and recognizing your professional achievements on social media. It includes highlighting our new members on “Membership Mondays” and thanking our volunteers for their dedication and service through awards and special events.
So this Thanksgiving, as always, we are thankful for our NAIFA members. You make us the strongest, most influential association for insurance and financial advisors in the United States. You drive our success and motivate our progress.
We hope everyone enjoys a healthy and happy Thanksgiving holiday!
