Arlington, VA (March 2, 2026) — The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors (NAIFA) and Dublin-based Brokers Ireland have announced a new strategic international partnership focused on professional development, thought leadership, and public policy collaboration. The agreement reflects a shared commitment to strengthening the insurance and financial service profession while expanding opportunities for advisors and brokers in both countries.
NAIFA President-Elect John W. Wheeler, Jr. and Trustee Josh O’Gara attended the Brokers Ireland Financial Broker Conference and signed the trans-Atlantic partnership on February 26 in Enfield, Ireland.
Through the partnership, NAIFA and Brokers Ireland will collaborate on initiatives aimed at strengthening professional education, advancing industry standards, and expanding international engagement for financial professionals in the United States and Ireland.
Collaboration will include shared thought leadership, participation in conferences and professional events, and the exchange of insights on public policy and regulatory developments affecting financial professionals, helping support informed advocacy efforts and continued consumer access to financial guidance in both markets.
“This partnership is a win-win for our organizations and the professionals we represent,” said NAIFA CEO Kevin M. Mayeux, CAE. “NAIFA and Brokers Ireland share a common mission to elevate professionalism, strengthen advocacy, and ensure consumers have access to financial guidance. By working together, we expand global perspectives, create new learning opportunities for our members, and reinforce the vital role financial professionals play in helping individuals and families achieve financial security.”
