May Is Disability Insurance Awareness Month

This week, NAIFA-Colorado hosted its 2023 State Conference. The action-packed program featured inspiring talks from NAIFA President Bryon Holz, INVI MindHealth Founder and CEO Jonathan Wilson, inspirational speaker Corey Ciocchetti, Sales Activity Management, Inc., CEO Mickey Straub, and bestselling author and behavioral finance expert Joe Jordan.

Holz shared moving stories of memorable firsts in his life and career. Wilson shared lessons he learned as a Navy SEAL and how his experiences helped shape his approach to insurance and financial services. Ciocchetti gave insights on how to pursue an authentic life with integrity. Straub shared his insights on the importance of activity management and record keeping. Jordan regaled attendees with his advice for Living a Life of Significance.

NAIFA-CO IFAPAC Chair Brent A. Jones, LUTCF, LACP, shared updates on the impact NAIFA members are making at the state and federal levels, including the passage of the SECURE 2.0 and RILA Acts. NAIFA-CO President Joseph Giulitto, CCFC, ABFP, and Independence Institute President and CEO Jon Caldara also discussed the state of Colorado politics.

The event concluded with a fireside chat with former Denver Broncos running back and Alpha 1 Tax & Wealth Partner Terrell Davis, sharing stories from his NFL and financial services careers.
