NAIFA member and CEO of Females and Finance Sheryl Hickerson announced the launch of a new website for the organization.
Founded in 2018, Females and Finance started as a special interest group around the idea of recruiting, training, and advancing women in financial services and financial technology. Today, it serves more than 3,200 professionals by providing a user-friendly and professional platform to host networking, training, and educational events focused on business development, practice enhancement, and entrepreneurship support.
Females and Finance provides a vetted ecosystem for members, sponsors, partners, and pledged firms committed to mentoring, training, hiring, and advancing women in financial service. These like-minded professionals are from different companies, states, and financial sectors and bring access to training and education on a variety of topics. Females and Finance also offers exposure to financial organizations dedicated to moving the needle on providing opportunities to diverse talent and supporting their success.
Hickerson has been an avid supporter of NAIFA through the years and serves on NAIFA’s DEI Council.
