NAIFA congratulates the members who earned the Life and Annuity Certified Professional (LACP) certification during the July testing window:
- Robert Quinlan, LUTCF, MBA, LACP (loyal member since 1991), Owner of Quinlan Care, LLC, in Pleasant Valley, NY.
- Valerie K. LaRoque, LACP, (loyal member since 2020), Regional Director for Alpha Omega Wealth in Normandy Park, WA.
- Todd J. Pack, LACP, (loyal member since 2021), President of Break Through Advisors, Inc., in Macomb, MI.
LACP applicants must meet the certification’s professional experience and education requirements and agree to abide by NAIFA’s Code of Ethics, which requires them to serve their clients’ best interests. Applicants must then pass a three-hour proctored exam to demonstrate their professional knowledge in three areas: Insurance and annuity products; the consultative sales process; and ethical, legal, and regulatory requirements for insurance and annuity sales.
The LACP certification is accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA) and complies with the NCCA’s rigid Standards for the Accreditation of Certification Programs. The LACP certification is officially listed in the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) professional designations database, one of only eleven accredited certifications and designations of the hundreds listed with FINRA.
Differentiate Yourself!
Qualifying as an LACP certificant shows your clients, prospective clients, and peers that you are ethical, committed to your profession, and knowledgeable about important financial products and services. The LACP sets you apart in a competitive marketplace and helps you enhance your brand.
Insurance and financial professionals can apply now to take the LACP exam during the January 2022 testing window.
