NAIFA Members Provide Financial Security

If you ask Derek Glitz what he likes most about working in financial services, he’ll answer that it’s the people he works with. Specifically, he enjoys assisting financial advisors and insurance agents to reach their maximum potential and help their clients realize their retirement dreams.

Glitz entered the financial services industry in 2004 after graduating from Saint Joseph’s University. He started his career working with Hartford Mutual Funds before joining The Bancorp, Inc., in 2010, where he now serves as the Heartland Business Development Officer of the Institutional Banking Group.

With abundant experience, Glitz remains passionate about enabling financial professionals with the tools that allow them to provide a holistic financial offering to their clients. Through the products and services offered by Institutional Banking, Glitz and his team work to provide banking services that can deliver streamlined access to liquidity from securities portfolios and/or the cash value of a permanent life insurance policy.

Joining NAIFA 

By building his relationships with other industry professionals, Glitz was eventually introduced to NAIFA and saw the value in joining the organization as a member. He looks forward to expanding his network and learning from other industry leaders on the best ways to help advisors and agents maximize their potential.
