April Is National Financial Literacy Month

NAIFA CEO Kevin Mayeux, CAE, who has overseen the rebirth and transformation of NAIFA under the NAIFA 20/20 and now the NAIFA 2025 Strategic Plans knows his stuff when it comes to association management.

He recently appeared on the podcast "Nonprofit Conversations" with Cecilia Sepp, CAE, in an episode titled "The Financially Astute Association With Kevin Mayeux." He and Sepp discussed important financial management considerations for association executives. The conversation provides insights into NAIFA's work to nurture the association's financial health and provide high value and a top-notch membership experience.

"A financially astute association is one that judiciously guards its resources to make sure that they can make good use of them to benefit their members," Mayeux said, "but also looks for opportunities to make investments so they can continue to improve the products and services that they have available for their members."
