NAIFA Members Provide Financial Security

The life insurance industry has been slow to adopt digital solutions, but recently I was introduced to a new company working to change that. Plum Life, founded by former executives in the life insurance industry, was created after they recognized a shift towards digitization was coming quickly and created a 100% digital platform exclusively for agents.

In today's environment, advisors are working remotely and are relying on digital tools to interact with their clients more than ever before. This can sometimes lead to a lack of personal touch and critical guidance through the sales process, but that does not have to be the case. While there are other digital platforms available for life insurance sales, many of them are focused on direct-to-consumer sales and put the agent experience second.
