The Penn Mutual Life Insurance Company has named David Jacowitz named managing director of Central Financial Group, Penn Mutual’s career agency office located in Rochester, N.Y. As managing director, Jacowitz will be responsible for the development of the sales team, including the recruitment, training and supervising of producers.

“With more than 14 years of industry experience, David’s extensive knowledge and skills in recruiting, production and sales will be essential to developing well-rounded producers for Centra Financial,” says Rebecca Dunne, Vice President of Penn Mutual’s Career Agency System. “As the financial services industry becomes increasingly complex, I am confident David will build a team that is adept in meeting every client’s individual needs.”

Prior to joining Penn Mutual, Jacowitz served as senior partner for New York Life, where he was also responsible for recruiting, training, supervising and joint sales. He previously worked as a producer with Metropolitan Life for eight years.

Jacowitz holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 31 and 66 licenses. In addition, he is an active member of the Scholarship for Business Students for Ramapo College in Mahwah, N.J., where he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Finance, as well as an active member of NAIFA. He currently resides in Pittsford, N.Y.
