NAIFA-New York State is pleased to congratulate its current President, Lawrence J. Holzberg, LUTCF, (Commack) on his appointment as Managing Director of the Guardian (New York) and Senior Vice President of Wealth Advisory Group LLC., (WAG) (New York; New York City & Albany).

Mr. Holzberg joined Guardian and WAG in his new position effective February 1, 2015, where he brings 25-plus years of life insurance sales experience and management skills. He will be responsible for career growth and development, as well as for brokerage operations.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Holzberg was a Managing Director – Brokerage, with American Business (NYC), and a principal of Rampart America for 14 years (LI). He is the current President of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors-New York State, an active member of the Association for Advanced Life Underwriting and GAMA International.

Mr. Holzberg is an avid golfer, the Past President of his Country Club, a member of the Board of Directors Long Island Caddie Scholarship Fund, and a member of the Board of Directors of Project Heal. He lives with his wife, Joan, and their two daughters in Commack, NY.

The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors - New York State (the NAIFA – NYS), was formally organized in 1919 as the New York State Association of Life Underwriters.  It provides legislative/regulatory advocacy, industry relations representation, marketing, promotion and public relations support for industry professionals. It is actively involved in outreach programs with consumer groups, the media, industry trade affiliate organizations, legislators and regulators.
