125 Years Ago Today…

On June 18, 1890, NAIFA was founded in Boston as the National Association of Life Underwriters (NALU). Its purpose, according to Voices from the Field, was to “advance the cause of true life insurance.” Through the initial efforts of NALU’s founders, millions of American families and businesses today know peace of mind and economic security.
