It was an honor for me to participate in the recent APIC Influence Training in Washington DC. I thought the entire program was extremely valuable and helped me to understand things so much better. Laura DeGolier, National APIC Subcommittee Chair, did a fantastic job as did all of the presenters and the NAIFA staff.

It is always a privilege to be in the presence of so much history and people of influence. I feel that I gained greatly in learning how to deal with politicians and their staff members from both sides of the aisle. I realize now more than ever before the importance of NAIFA and that individuals in our industry MUST take it upon themselves to get involved and work towards keeping our industry strong. There is a huge gap between those that think it is important and those that assume things will always be as they are.

Thank you again for this wonderful opportunity. My next challenge is to speak to someone at Ohio National Life Insurance Company (my career company) about promoting NAIFA in some way to all of its agents.
