Bobby Johnson of Midland National Life Insurance Company Joins NAIFA Industry Leadership Board

NAIFA has appointed Bobby Johnson, Chief Distribution Officer of Midland National Life® Insurance Company, to the Industry Leadership Board (ILB).

The ILB – comprised of distinguished leaders within the insurance and financial service sector – collaborates closely with NAIFA's Board of Trustees and professional staff to identify emerging trends, anticipate challenges, and develop solutions to enhance the value proposition for financial professionals and their clients.

Johnson brings extensive experience and a proven track record of leadership in the insurance and financial service industry. As Chief Distribution Officer, Johnson leads distribution strategy for Midland National’s life division, which includes both the independent agent and broker/dealer channels.

NAIFA, celebrating its 135th year, has undergone significant transformation. In 2024, NAIFA unified with Life Happens and the Society of Financial Service Professionals as one organization. The expanded organization retains all three brands under the NAIFA umbrella and leverages each organization’s strengths to create a greater impact for the industry, financial service professionals and consumers.
