April Is National Financial Literacy Month

This month's InsuranceNewsNet Magazine features an interview with Angela Ribuffo, RICP, CFP, ChFC, CDFA, CLTC, loyal NAIFA member since 1973.

In the article, Ribuffo shares how she became a financial advisor to help women make informed decisions to ensure their financial security and why recruiting and retaining women and people of color in the insurance and financial services industry is crucial to serving the financial needs of Main Street USA.

“When I talk to industry leaders, they often talk to me about recruiting," she shares in the article. "I say to them, ‘Look, if you kept all the number of women that you recruit each year, we would’ve moved the needle years ago. But the fact that we haven’t tells you that it is not a recruiting issue. It’s a retention issue.'"

Ribuffo is the Founder and President of Raion Financial Strategies, LLC, and a Past President of NAIFA Advocacy partner Women in Insurance and Financial Services (WIFS). Last year, she was named WIFS 2022 Woman of the Year. We're #NAIFAproud of her contributions to the industry and her passion for promoting financial security for all.
